Private party impounds have become a main source of revenue within the towing industry, and most companies start and build their foundation on these types of tows.  Private party impounds came about because of the ever increasing occupancy of local apartment communities and lack of parking.  In the late 1980’s nobody wanted to do these types of tows because they felt it was a shady side of the business with no real upside to their local reputation.  I became one of the innovators with regards to private party impounds and created and formed one of the first companies in Orange County California in the late 1980’s that specialized in this type of tows.  From the onset our goal was to provide a service that was needed within local communities and associations for the sole purpose of removing illegally parked and abandoned vehicles.  Once we started, our services caught on and spread like wildfire thru apartment managers, property managers, association board members, and security companies.  As the need for this type of service became more in need so did the competition.  Private Party Impounds started as a service to local communities and was intended as nothing more than just providing a service.  As the need increased and the competition grew so did the corruption.  With no regulations governing these types of tows it made it easy for property managers to delegate their parking enforcement to over-zealous towing companies who would randomly patrol communities in search of parking violations with little or no regard for community residents.  Security companies and property managers once used local towing companies based on their services, response times and ability to safely and efficiently remove a vehicle from the property, and now some have taken an underhanded approach to towing away vehicles such as how much of a “Kickback” one is willing to pay.  It must be stated that not all security companies, property managers and towing companies practice this underhanded style of doing business and there are a lot of very reputable companies who base their business on providing a service.  Private Party Impound laws have changed and we have more regulations that govern these types of tows and keeping that in mind it very important that prior to removing any vehicle from your property you understand the local, state and federal laws regulating such tows.  Extreme Towing has set high standards from the onset and feel that it is our obligation and duty to inform, educate and comply prior to removing any vehicle from private property.  Extreme Towing is here and available to assist and answer any and all questions that surround the removal of illegally parked vehicles.  With over 20 years of experience in the private party impound business you are assure to get the right advice at the right time while deploying all of our resources at all times to ensure that you not only are staying in compliance but that you are getting the actual service your community deserves.  Whether you are just searching for the right towing company to service your property or just need expert advice Extreme towing is available to assist you and answer any questions and or concerns that might arise.  We would love the opportunity to discuss in detail our services, so that we can build your trust and confidence while earning your business.
